Stainless Steel Sample Cups (1 set of 10)

Our stainless steel sample cups come in a set of 10, and are ideal for use with drying ovens. You can generate a soil moisture release curve by graphing water potential against water content, which can be derived gravimetrically via the loss-on-drying method.

When preparing the sample, cover as much of the bottom of the cup with the sample material as possible. This ensures accurate measurement of sample temperature. Small gaps or spaces showing the bottom of the cup are acceptable.

Calibration standards

You can check your WP4's performance and update its calibration with our ready-to-use Calibration Standards. You no longer need to purchase and store reagent grade salts, or own a high-precision balance. WP4's Calibration Standards are 0.5 molal KCl, with a water potential of -2.19 MegaPascals (MPa). Therefore, you can routinely check to see if your WP4 is reading the KCl correctly. If it happens to be off, you can re-adjust it before measuring your samples.

You save time when you use WP4 Calibration Standards. No more storing, mixing, or boiling water and salt in your lab. Calibrate WP4 as often as you need in one step.
