2005G2 Vacuum Hand Pump

The 2005G2 vacuum hand pump is a convenient and easily operated vacuum pump for:
  • Evacuating a soil water sampler in order to obtain a sample of the soil solution.
  • Extracting solution samples from soil water samplers using an extraction kit.
  • Vacuum extraction of soil samples in buchner funnels or tempe cells
Air is pulled in at the front and exhausted through the upper side fitting located directly below the handle end of the pump. The 2005G2 has a 100 ml volume stroke capacity and is recommended for the 1900 series and 1905 slim tube soil water samplers.

2006G2 Pressure Vacuum Hand Pump

The 2006G2 hand pump is a very sturdy and rugged foot held hand pump which moves a large volume of air per stroke. The 2006G2 has a 500ml volume stroke capacity, provides up to 75 psi (500 kPa) pressure and a -90 cb or -90 kPa vacuum. Recommended for the 1920 to 1942 series soil water samplers.

2008 Electric Pressure Vacuum Pump

The 2008 provides fast, large volume vacuum capabilities, and quickly develops the needed "sample" push pressures. The electric pressure vacuum pump is battery-operated combination pump, with 2 sealed lead acid batteries for total continuous working time of 5 hrs. Comes with a number of features including readout dials for both pressure and vacuum ports, a pressure regulator output limits, and a valve for controlling speed to pressurization or vacuum creation. Quick connects on the pump console and on output connection hose assemblies provided for easy and trouble free connection.

2005G2 Vacuum Hand Pump, with gauge


The 2005G2 vacuum hand pump is a convenient and easily operated vacuum pump for:
  • Evacuating a soil water sampler in order to obtain a sample of the soil solution.
  • Extracting solution samples from soil water samplers using an extraction kit.
  • Vacuum extraction of soil samples in buchner funnels or tempe cells
The 2005G2 has a 100 ml volume stroke capacity and is recommended for the 1900 series and 1905 slim tube soil water samplers.

Air is pulled in at the front and exhausted through the upper side fitting located directly below the handle end of the pump. Not only will the pump pull a vacuum in short order, but due to the exceptional sealing of the valves, will maintain a large evacuated volume over an extended period of time. The pump Includes a vacuum dial gauge and is capable of developing vacuums to 80 kPa.

1300F1 Filter Funnel Extractor

The 1300F1 enables extraction of the solution from 5 soil samples at the same time.

Soil dilutions have been a standard of assessing dissolvable soil constituents, solution extraction of mineral contents or any number of other solvent /solution based tests commonly done on soils that will require filtered extract. Using a vacuum extraction method helps assure extraction of all the solution possible from a test sample. Whether it's working with soil pastes or slurries the 1300F1 will get it done quickly and effectively. Constructed of durable aluminium and epoxy coated, the "push – pull" control knob at each sample port give complete control of suction intensity and is unique to the 1300. Funnel tube end extends into the glass sample bottles preventing any contact bias from outside sources.

1900 Soil Water Samplers
The Model 1900 soil water sampler is a large-volume sampler designed for near-surface installation at depths ranging from 15 cm to 1.8 m. The unit consists of a 4.8 cm outside diameter PVC tube, a porous ceramic cup (653X01-B02M2) with a 200 kPa (2 bar) air-entry value, and a santoprene stopper.

1905 Slim Tube Soil Water Samplers
The 1905 slim tube soil water sampler is a small-diameter sampler designed for taking small-volume samples or for use where installation space is limited.

Tensiometers


2100F Micro Tensiometer and Soil Column Tensiometer
The model 2100F tensiometer is a specialised unit designed for investigation of soil suction in small regimes such as near the soil surface, or for laboratory work such as measuring soil suction values at various levels in soil columns. The porous ceramic cup (0652X03-B01M1) is 6 mm in diameter and 2.5 cm long and attaches to the tensiometer body via a 1.8 m length of polyethylene tubing.
