Additional Product Information
Procheck
The ProCheck is a hand-held readout device that can take manual portable measurements of all Decagon sensors, including the digital ECHO-TE, EC-TM, and RH/Temp sensors. It will store data and also download stored data to a computer. The ProCheck has pre-set calibrations for different media (mineral soil, potting soil, Perlite, etc.) and also allows you to apply your own particular calibration to any of the sensors as well.
Features
- Portable measurement of all Decagon sensors
- Applies pre-set calibrations (when necessary) to readings in real-time
- Stores readings with time, date, sensor type, calibration, and comments
- Downloads data to PC (free software provided)
- Battery-operated

| 10HS Soil Moisture Sensors |
The 10HS Soil Moisture Sensor obtains volumetric water content by measuring the dielectric constant of the media through the utilization of capacitance/frequency domain technology. In addition, the 10HS sensors incorporate a high frequency oscillation, which allows the sensor to accurately measure soil moisture in any soil or soilless media with minimal salinity and textural effects. |
 |
| EC-5 |
High-frequency operation (70 MHz) makes the EC-5 ideal for any soil type, including soils with varying degrees of EC (up to 8dS/m). Its typical accuracy in any soil is ±3% without calibration and 1-2% with soil-specific calibration.
Supplied with 5m cable with 3.5mm jack plug. |
|
| 5TE Sensors |
The 5TE is designed to measure the water content, electrical conductivity, and temperature of soil and growing media.
Supplied with 5m cable with 3.5mm jack plug. |
 |
| MPS-1 |
Soil water potential is a key parameter for determining water availability for plant growth, water flow, and soil stability. Although an in-situ measurement of soil water potential has been the focus of considerable research over the years, existing solutions still have many drawbacks such as high maintenance, limited lifetime, individual calibration requirements, high cost, and small measurement range. The MPS-1 is a sensor that can be used in the field to accurately measure in-situ soil water potential without these limitations. |
 |
| ECRN-100 |
Double-spoon tipping bucket rain gauge with 0.25mm tip and resolution. Durable UV and water resistant ABS. Level bubble. 170mm x 142mm |
 |
| ECT Air and Soil Temperature Probe |
The Temperature Sensor can measure both air temperature and soil temperature. It connects to any channel in a Decagon Datalogger for long-term temperature monitoring.
Supplied with 3m cable with 3.5mm jack plug. |
 |
| PASSECT |
Passive Radiation Shield with preinstalled ECT sensor.
The Radiation Shield is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to protect the Temperature Sensor and the RH/Temp Sensor from ambient interference. Without proper protection, these sensitive devices can give inaccurate readings. |
 |
| PYR |
The pyranometer measures the solar radiation flux density (in watts per metre square) from a field of view of 180 degrees. This pyranometer is completely water proof, submersible, and designed for continuous outdoor use.
Supplied with with level plate, 3m cable, 3.5mm jack plug. |
 |
| PAR |
Our basic quantum light sensor with cosine-corrected head has a domed diffusion disk and head for improved self-cleaning characteristics and long-term stability. An innovative blue lens improves the accuracy of these sensors and meters. The pigments in the lens filter incoming light for an improved spectral response.
Supplied with with level plate, 3m cable, 3.5mm jack plug. |

Leaf Wetness Sensor
LWS Brochure (140K PDF)
|
The Dielectric Leaf Wetness Sensor (LWS) enables accurate and affordable leaf wetness monitoring. The Leaf Wetness Sensor determines the presence and duration of wetness on a leaf’s surface, enabling researchers and producers to forecast disease
and protect plant canopies.
Leaf Wetness Sensor, 5m cable, 3.5mm jack plug. |
 |
RHT Relative humidity and temperature sensor |
RH/Temperature sensor measures relative humidity (RH) and temperature, making it ideal for use with ECH2O probes in studying microclimate and evapotranspiration.
Supplied with 3m cable with 3.5mm jack plug. |
 |
| PASSRHT |
Passive radiation shield with preinstalled RHT sensor.
The Radiation Shield is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to protect the Temperature Sensor and the RH/Temp Sensor from ambient interference. Without proper protection, these sensitive devices can give inaccurate readings. |
