Features

• Full 30 cm depth of measurement in 2.5 cm increments for on-site measurement of density and moisture content of construction materials including soils, soil aggregates, concrete and asphalt pavements.
• Microprocessor provides direct readings of wet density, dry density, moisture content, and relative density upon entering maximum values.
• Complete with molded, plastic shipping case, lock and two keys, reference standard, guideplate/scrapper, drill pin, lubricant, sign kit, wipe test kit and certificate, 115/230 volts AC battery charger, battery pack of eight welded AA NICAD batteries, and operating instructions.

Model MC-1DR-P Portaprobe

MC-1DR Portaprobe density/moisture surface guage. Available in 8" or 12" depth with 1" or 2" increments.

Features

• 20 cm depth of measurement in 5 cm increments for on-site measurement of density and moisture content of construction materials including soils, soil aggregates, concrete and asphalt pavements.
• Direct readings of wet density, dry density, and percent moisture upon completion of a one minute test.
• Complete with molded, plastic shipping case, lock and two keys, standard block, guideplate/scrapper, drill pin, lubricant, sign kit, wipe test kit and certificate, battery pack of six welded D size alkaline cells, and operating instructions.

Model MC-S-24 Stratagauge

60 cm Stratagauge In-place density and moisture measurements in strata layers to a depth of 60 cm in 5 cm increments. A dual-probe gauge for measuring the density and moisture content of soil/cement, roller compacted concrete and agricultural/forestry soils at specific depths. Source and detector rods are inserted into material for profile determinations to 60 cm.

Model AC-2R Asphalt Content Gauge

Nuclear density gauges are the most effective non-destructive testing method for asphalt paving materials. Conventional density test methods require collection of core samples, which are time consuming and require repair of the pavement. Accurate nuclear gauge density measurements take one-minute and are accepted by all State and Federal highway agencies.
