Neutron Probe Accessories, Services and Consumables
NPro Software	NPro is an easy-to-use software package incorporating a simple expert system that will convert and store probe readings into soil moisture for crop management. NPro soil moisture software quickly converts measurements into management options in an easy, friendly and logical fashion.
RS232-C Cable	The RS-232 serial cable is used to connect the neutron probe to a standard PC 9-pin COM port.
Probe Cable	Probe cables are available in any required length and are made up by ICT to ensure correct construction with respect to strain relief and waterproofing.
Access Tube Driver	The tube driver is a specially designed soft metal insert used to drive the aluminium access tubes into an augered bore hole without damage or distortion to the tubes. It both supports the tube wall and evenly spreads the impact force over the full circumference of the tube.
Aluminium access tubing	Aluminium access tubing is designed specifically for use with neutron probes. The tube is fitted with a precision-turned sealed cap which both facilitates accurate driving down a bore hole and prevents water entering the tube. Only aluminium tubes can be used with neutron probes as they permit free passage of neutrons, unlike plastic tubing. Available in the following lengths: 1.0m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 2.0m, 2.5m, 3.0m, 4.0m, 5.0m, 6.0m , 6.5m *most commonly supplied lengths
Batteries	Battery packs are available in two types: non rechargeable - 6 x 'C' cell pack which will power a model CPN503TDR for approximately 12 months. rechargeable - 8 x 'AA' cell pack which will operate the probe for approximately 24 months with regular recharging.
Cable stops	Cable stops can be fitted to the probe cables at preset positions to assist in setting the probe into the bore hole at a known depth.
Auger set	The auger set will bore a precision hole in the ground that will accept an aluminium access tube. Click here for more information

Radiation Survey Meter - Monitor 4	The Monitor 4 Radiation Detector (M4) are compact, general purpose survey meters capable of detecting alpha, beta, gamma, and x-rays over 3 selectable ranges.
