Jörg Suckau![]() Jörg Suckau received his tertiary education in Germany with a Diploma of Engineering (dipl. ing.) from the Technical University in Munich. In the late sixties he made his first expedition to Antarctica joining a research team as the senior technician. He returned to Antarctica for a second expedition in the early seventies as an advising physicist. Jörg worked at the University of Sydney for 25 years, initially at the School of Physics and later in the Biological Science department. During this time he designed and built a range of custom instruments for specific research applications. For example he designed and built a tracking system for crocodiles in Arnhemland in northern Australia. Jörg has been continuously repairing neutron probes and scientific instruments for ICT International customers for over 20 years. Jörg's extraordinary talents in electrical engineering have seen him regularly repair proprietary instrument circuit boards which have been unable to be repaired by the original equipment manufacturer. This skill alone has saved many-a-scientists research project from failure. © 2003-2008, ICT International |
