GT3 Custom Tensiometer
Transducers

ICT International has developed a range of transducers and interfaces to measure soil suction and water table pressure in either kilopascal (kPa) or in millivolts (mV) units from -100 kPa (-100 mV) to 200 kPa (200 mV). The kilopascal outputs are pre calibrated interfaces for immediate field use. The millivolt output options enable scientists to calibrate the output very precisely to measured suction and pressures.

Since the outputs from the interface are serial, the suction and pressure can be monitored continuously. This can be done either with the Smart Logger or by direct connection to the serial port of a PC.
