Low-cost Data Logger System Em5b

The Em5 Logger system is a low-cost, small, battery-operated 5-channel analogue logger system. The Em5b system is offered with the sensors listed below in any combination, up to a total of five sensors. The Em5b operates on 4xAAA batteries for up to six months and can store approximately 3400 readings.

The Em5b can be used with the ECHO Utility software to set logging interval, sensor type and download data directly to MS Excel. Available as a free download for Windows computers - click here to download. (1.3MB installer file).

Available sensors for EM5 Logger System
EC-20 Soil Moisture Probe	The EC-20 is designed for medium-textured soil types with low EC conditions. Typical accuracy in these soil types is ±4% without calibration and 1-2% with soil-specific calibration. Suppied with 5m cable with 3.5mm jack plug.
ECRN-50 Rain Gauge	Single-spoon tipping bucket rain gauge, durable UV and water-resistant ABS plastic, 1mm resolution. 50mm x 100mm, 5m cable with 3.5mm jack plug.
ECT Air and Soil Temperature Probe	The Temperature Sensor can measure both air temperature and soil temperature. It connects to any channel in a Decagon Datalogger for long-term temperature monitoring. Supplied with 3m cable with 3.5mm jack plug.
PASSECT - Passive Radiation Shield with preinstalled ECT sensor	Passive Radiation Shield with preinstalled ECT sensor. The Radiation Shield is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to protect the Temperature Sensor from ambient interference. Without proper protection, these sensitive devices can give inaccurate readings.
