ECH₂O Logger Pack

The ECH₂O “Logger Pack” consists of five EC-20 ECH₂O sensors, one ECH₂O Check Hand Held Display meter, one ECH₂O Em5 five channel datalogger, communications software and serial communications cable. This package is designed to introduce growers to a logging soil moisture system that eliminates the manual labour required in collecting data for irrigation scheduling or scientists who need a simple, accurate and low cost soil moisture monitoring package.

The “Logger Pack” allows the flexibility to install one complete site with five depths measured down the soil profile. Data is automatically logged at the same time each day providing detailed information for accurate scheduling of irrigations. The user can download data in the field using a laptop or disconnect the ECH₂O datalogger and take it back to the office for downloading the data.

The ECH₂O Check Meter is used to confirm good installation of each sensor before backfilling the hole and provides the user the ability to quickly disconnect the sensors attached to the logger to take manual “Spot Checks” while in the field. This allows the user to act on the data immediately without the need to return to the office.

EC-20 Probes x 5	The EC-20 is designed for medium-textured soil types with low EC conditions. Their typical accuracy in these soil types is ±4% without calibration and 1-2% with soil-specific calibration. Suppied with 5m cable with 3.5mm jack plug.
