ECH₂O Check Display Meter

Measure soil water content in the field

Portable monitoring of your low cost ECH2O probes has never been easier. Decagon's hand-held meter provides a convenient readout for the field. Simply plug in the 3.5 mm connector from the ECH2O probe and push the button on ECH2O Check to get an instantaneous reading.

Readings are displayed in units of percent Volumetric Soil Water (VSW%) or raw millivolts (mV). Using the factory supplied universal calibration equation the ECHO provides +/- 3% accuracy across all soil types. For more accurate readings a soil specific calibration can be prepared by the user and the equation entered into the Echo Check.
